Online Dating New tendency: Women go online to find real relationship! How to use the moment?

In a previous post I have already mentioned the tendency that women perceive Online Dating as natural way of finding a true love and live partner.

Today, as Mirror News also reports that single men and women are more likely to find true love on the internet than at work or at a party - especially if they are over 45. A poll of 10,000 married couples in 2006/2007 found 19 per cent met online compared with 17 per cent who got together at work and 17 per cent who paired up through pals. Of these, 31 per cent aged 45 to 54 met online, against 18 per cent of 20 to 44-year-olds. Jerry Will of online matchmaker MillionaireCupid.com, Toronto, said: "Wanting to get married and not going online will soon be seen as equivalent to trying to find an address by driving around randomly - rather than using a map."

In contrast a similar poll of 5,000 couples who married between September 2004 and August 2005 found that 14 per cent met online, compared with 20 per cent at work and 17 per cent through friends. The authors also mention "28 age concern" when women start to worry about crow's feet, wrinkles and grey hair - at the grand old age of 28.

Besides, any online business is the one to go now especially when US economy is in recession (reports Market Watch). According to a survey, a 62 percent majority of CPA respondents said they were pessimistic or very pessimistic about the economic outlook for the U.S. over the next 12 months, an increase in pessimism from 57 percent who held negative expectations in the second quarter.

Fifty-seven percent of respondents said they believe the U.S. economy has already entered a recession. The survey found only 10 percent of CPAs in executive positions expressed optimism about the economy, a decline from 12 percent in the second quarter.

Interests should be similar though, and you should provide the right environment: paid membership plans (as many users say that payment is a basis for security and serious intentions), community communication (events, forums, blogs, groups), wide search opportunity and site alerts. Just make a step to start it and study the market for the right marketing strategy in future! Think about Niche sites, they will always be in favor...
